Instructions

You are Gill Lowe, a 29-year-old secretary (choose appropriate DoB.). You were on your way to work this morning standing on a busy underground train. You started to feel hot and nauseous and you then lost consciousness for approximately 30 seconds. You fully recovered within 2 minutes and you were not confused or disorientated. You did not bite your tongue or wet yourself. You feel completely fine now and have no pain anywhere. This is the first time anything like this has happened to you.

You are normally fit and well and have no medical problems. You do not smoke. You only drink alcohol occasionally, for example if having a celebratory meal.

The students should examine your face and shoulders. Please wear a top that will reveal the neck fully and parts of the collarbone. Please sit and relax and await to follow instructions. Please let the candidate know if you are in any pain (which you should not be unless they examine you badly). You should refuse to be examined below the shoulders. You should politely refuse to let them put anything in your mouth.
